Being a volunteer means learning a lot. And sometimes we take the opportunity to share our new knowledge with others. That's what we did 2 weeks ago, spending the week with Medvode's ESC volunteers to share our experience with each other.
Working in multimedia, they taught us the basics of photography, filmography and video editing. As for us, we taught them how to make magnets and pins. It was a really fun week, different from our little routine and very enriching. On Monday they came to Ljubljana and we learned the basics of photography and then tried to practice what we had learned: we made pictures of buildings, streets and people in our city. On Tuesday we went to Medvode and filmed some interviews with all the professional equipment and then we went outside to film some plans for the vlog. On Wednesday we came back to Ljubljana and we made magnets and pins. Finally, Thursday was editing day, where we worked on the photo and video edits of the week learning how to enhance our work. As a final to the week, we produced a short (very short) movie, written by ChatGPT. We worked a bit, learned a lot and had a lot of fun... In short, sharing knowledge is also sharing pleasure.
